Current Positions Available

Part Time Pharmacist
Essential Functions:
    • Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, route of administration and stability.  Makes recommendations for therapy changes to the physician and facility staff as appropriate.
    • Maintains patient database to include appropriate current and past medical history, appropriate clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medication (including over-the-counter and home remedies).
    • Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support as needed.
    • Documents all communication with physicians, nurses, other members of the healthcare team and patients and their family members in the medical record.
    • Obtains, as necessary, and maintains all required documentation in accordance with federal and state regulatory agencies and policy.
    • Implements policies and procedures for the safe procurement, storage, distribution and use of drugs and biologicals, as well as disposal of drugs.
    • Assists facility/agency staff personnel with procedures relating to safe and effective methods of procuring, maintaining, administering and disposing of drugs.
Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor´s degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy or Pharmacy Doctorate.
    • Current license in the state of practice.
    • IV clinical experience preferred.
Pharmacy Technician
Essential Functions:
    • Assists the pharmacist in maintaining compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations, accrediting body standards and Carepoint Policy and Procedures (P&P).
    • Follows all appropriate guidelines for the preparation of compounded sterile products per Carepoint P&P:
    • Product preparation
    • Checking procedures
    • Labeling procedures
    • Prepares and maintains the pharmacy clean room suite and all dedicated equipment in accordance with Carepoint P&P’s.
    • Performs and maintains documentation of IV admixture and clean room suite sterility testing in accordance with Carepoint P&P’s. 
    • Completes appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports, according to Carepoint P&P’s.
    • Completes order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist.
    • Assists in training and orientation of new pharmacy technicians as directed by pharmacy manager or designee.
    • Communicates appropriately with all members of the healthcare team.
    • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college is preferred.
    • Eligible for state registration, certification or licensure per state regulations.
    • National pharmacy technician certification required.
    • Basic computer skills.
Corporate Salesman Representative
Essential Functions:
    • Promotes company products and services in a professional and creative manner.
    • Review accounts and input intakes.
    • Make sales calls and track them using the call log.
    • Responsible for following up on doctor referrals.
    • Work closely with customers to resolve complaints.
    • Develops new customer contacts in order to achieve referrals from accounts that have minimal to no referral history with Carepoint.
    • Responsible for enhancing branch revenue budgets by developing new business leads, as well as servicing the new accounts.
    • Works with branch personnel to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Meets minimum call standard through individual contacts.
    • Maintains accurate records on prospective and active accounts.
    • Ensures timely completion and submission of itineraries and call reports.
    • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
